Rae started her professional career in motion picture and television.  She worked for a  rental house in Los Angeles and on set.  This is where she learned all the hard work that goes into what you see on the big and little screens.  Oh, and that shooting a love scene is not romantic.

No, not at all...

She found her way back to the northwest attracted to the fresh air and scenery after the hustle and bustle of tinseltown and continued to work in entertainment with a local Portland motion picture rental house.  She eventually found her way into publications supporting a national shelter magazine photographer and writer/stylist team.  She scouted locations and pitched stories to editors that included Better Homes & Garden, Oregon Home, HGTV, Women's Day, Victorian Homes and others.  It was there that she developed the skill to sell a story and engage the audience.

Her next professional move was into the tourism industry where she developed an even deeper love affair for Oregon and the small business community.  Her marketing work with the passionate people and purveyors of farms, B&Bs, wineries, attractions and events throughout the area inspired her to move on and follow her own dreams by helping them follow theirs.

Rae lives in historic Oregon City where she enjoys being a part of the community, working with small businesses and events in and out of the area, walking her dog in the woods and singing in her blues band.
